What type of equipment does BlueShore use?
In order to capture the highest quality, all our equipment is professional grade. All cameras are 3-chip 24p digital cameras. All editing is done with the industry powerhouse Final Cut Pro.
What does 24p mean?
Basically, this allows us to shoot 24 frames per second (closest to the look and feel of film). Look at screenshots to see the quality of our film images .
What is your shooting style?
Actually, our style is really tailored around the choices of bride and groom, but most prefer our photo/journalistic style and approach. Coming from a film background, we tend to capture actions and angles most would never think of. This ultimately leads to an amazing final product that can be enjoyed again and again. Remember, BlueShore will capture your wedding the way you want it to be.
Do you use 2 videographers?
Yes. In the Gold, Platinum and Diamond packages there are always at least 2 videographers. This allows us to get the best angles and coverage possible.
Do you edit your own videos?
Yes. We do not believe in outsourcing our work. All of your editing will be done by BlueShore Productions. Your final product is ultimately created in the editing room and it is extremely important to us that both the videographer and the editors style and experience match.
Can I pick my own music?
Absolutely. In fact, we want you to pick out all of your music. This is extremely important to us. We use the music to ultimately set the pace of your wedding video during editing.
Do we need to book our wedding in advance?
Yes. If possible 6-12 months in advance as the peak season fills up quickly. Please contact us to check availability. If your date is available, we will secure it with a contract and retainer. This is the only way to guarantee your date.
There are some things in other packages that I would like. Can I add on?
Every bride has different ideas on what she wants. If there are things you would like to add to existing packages, we can definitely mold them around your needs.
What is a wedding website?
Our brides have absolutely loved this option! We create a custom website with your very own unique domain name and stream a 2-4 min recap of your wedding there. This gives the option of family members who could not make the event to see the highlights, order a dvd, even download and mp4 file for their iPod!
In the Diamond Package I noticed the Engagement Story, what's that?
Basically, we would choose a day before the wedding and set up interviews with the bride and groom and film you talking about how you met, etc. We would then film you together at different locations of choice. We then edit the piece with music and photos. The final product is shown at your reception or rehearsal dinner.
Do you attend the rehearsal?
Absolutely, as long as it is in the South Florida area. Rehearsals are very important for us. It gives us the ability to map out a keen plan of action to ensure we capture the highest quality footage. If it is not possible to attend your rehearsal, we are still able to communicate efficiently via telephone in order not to compromise quality.
How long before I receive my wedding DVD?
BlueShore uses a lengthy editing process to produce your finished film. We spend delicate time with color correction, effects, music, and more. Depending on your package, DVD delivery is typically within 4-16 weeks.
